Across the North, families can face limited options when their child needs more flexibility or support than the conventional classroom can provide. When those options aren’t available close to home, the effects reach beyond the child — into homes, schools, workplaces and the wider community.
Chickadee is working to change that by giving kids another way to move through their day, helping them feel regulated and ready to engage while continuing along their learning path. Investing in Chickadee helps make these options available to more families while building the knowledge, resources and capacity to better support children here in the North.

STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES BEYOND CHICKADEE

When families can’t access the right support close to home, they are often left trying to piece together what their children need on their own. Investing in Chickadee gives families more support in their own community, helping them gain stability and feel better equipped to meet their child’s needs.

Investing in Chickadee helps parents stay in the workforce, employers retain skilled staff, and families continue building their lives in the North.
